Overview

In the aftermath of the Chernobyl Nuclear disaster of April 26th 1986, there was much destruction left in its wake. While the invisible threat has been the most documented, there was a substantial degree of nuclear waste created from the disaster.

Common items like toys and furniture; To military equipment ranging from uniforms to tanks, and even helicopters. It all was reduced to radioactive waste. And with no efficient way of disposing the pilling debris, much of it was dumped in local rivers and fields surrounding the neighboring town of Pripyat.
